DTI is a faith based 501(c)3 non-profit organization. As a policy, DTI does not solicit funds for the organization, or for the personal needs of staff members.
We believe the Lord has directed us in the development of the DTI discipleship materials. As He provides, we will continue to offer those discipleship materials free of charge to anyone who can benefit personally, or who desires to glorify the Lord and to be used by Him to help other believers in their spiritual journey.
As is the case in every Christian organization, there are always ministry and personal financial needs. DTI is not underwritten by any church, foundation or institution. We present our financial needs to the Lord, and are so very thankful to Him as He meets those needs.
The Lord is faithful, and not limited, but He primarily uses His children to meet our ministry and personal financial needs through love offerings, and so we accept and are thankful for the gifts given as a response to the Holy Spirit's motivation.
Our intention is to not seek any man's possessions, nor to persuade anyone to give to DTI out of compulsion or guilt, but to give as led by the Holy Spirit.
Following the example of the apostle Paul, occasionally we prayerfully make known the needs of other individuals and groups who we believe to be in need of financial assistance, such as national pastors and leaders who live in less prosperous countries. (See 2 Cor. 9:1-15)
For general giving to the ministry of DTI, a "Donate" link is provided at the bottom of the DTI website pages. Or checks may be sent directly to: DTI; Box 61911; Reno, NV 89506. Please indicate if your gift is meant to be used for a specific purpose, such as the "Train The Trainers" (TTT) Cuba trips.
Feel free to direct any financially related questions to us at:
Matt. 6: 31-33 So don't worry, saying, 'What will we eat?' or 'What will we drink?' or 'What will we wear?' For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you."
Matt. 6:19-21 "Don't collect for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But collect for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves don't break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
1 Cor. 9:7 Each person should do as he has decided in his heart—not reluctantly or out of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Phil. 4:17-19 Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the profit that is increasing to your account. ... a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
1 Tim. 6:17-19 Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good reserve for the age to come, so that they may take hold of life that is real.
