Frank & Jeannette Meitz from DTI share with Pastor Michael Carter on how personal spiritual mentoring can help each believer live the abundant life God wants for each of his followers as we abide in Him.

Pastor Everett provides encouragement and a vision for those who have been part of the "Equipping The Saints" teaching the past four months. This teaching is just the first step in the process of producing believers who are true disciples of Jesus Christ! This is NOT the last meeting, just the first phase. Now we need to be in prayer about who the Lord would have us spiritually mentor.

Frank & Jeannette Meitz continue their teaching  with Session #2, An Overview of The Normal Christian Life. In this video we'll cover lesson 1-1 and also, the 3 Target Groups in which to find potential mentees.

This week Frank & Jeannette Meitz cover Lesson 1-2, Knowing God. They discuss the transformation process found in Romans 12:2, comparing the spiritual transformation to the natural metamorphosis found in a caterpillar turning into a butterfly.  They then cover the remaining sections on God's Word, Prayer and Sunday Gatherings. 

This week Frank & Jeannette Meitz cover Lesson 1-3, Salvation Principles. They discuss the concepts of Mercy and Grace, the Principle of Substitution, and the difference between true Christianity and all other religions.

We also discuss Discipling Guidelines from Lesson 2-5. 

This week Frank & Jeannette Meitz cover Lesson 1-4 & 1-5, The Anatomy of a Christian and How I received my 2 Natures, that is my sinful human nature and the divine nature in the person of the holy Spirit. This is a pivotal lesson in the development of a new believer as God's Character is front and center in helping a believer understand that we can trust God's Character and he will only do what's in your best interest, one definition of love.

This week Frank & Jeannette Meitz cover Lesson 1-6, How to Relate to the Holy Spirit. It's important to help the new believer understand that the Holy Spirit is a person and as such we can interact with Him.  

This week Frank & Jeannette Meitz cover Lesson 1-7, Lordship & Surrender. The purpose of this lesson is to help the new believer understand the importance of making a Lordship decision. That is the decision to acknowledge His Lordship in my life. To see the Lord as the one that is in charge of my life.
